A FREE Landscape Plan for Your Yard One of our experts will come to see you at your home to discuss the area in your yard that’s most important to you. We’ll talk about garden plants you like and have you share your ideas. Then, we’ll spend whatever time and expense necessary to create a landscape plan that is right for you. You’ll want to meet us here at Ken Matthews Garden Center in Yorktown to see the plan and the plants. We want you to be able to visualize exactly what your new yard will look like when it’s finished. And remember, a professionally landscaped yard increases the value of your home as much as 5%. That’s $20,000 for a $400,000 house!
You take no risk! If for any reason you are not happy with the plan, we’ll make whatever changes necessary to make sure you are completely satisfied with your new look. All we ask is that you buy the plants, mulch and other materials from us – as a package deal – to plant now.
Save money and DIY You can do the installation yourself, if you like. The installation of the design plan can be a project you can do on weekends. We will support your DIY (Do It Yourself) project in these ways:
• Layout the new garden bed design for you and paint the bedlines on the ground
• Show you the proper way to space and install the new plants (there is a right and a wrong way)
• Arrange for delivery of your plants, mulch, topsoil and fertilizer.
We’ll pay a visit when the project is done to see if you’ve covered all the bases. It’s that important to us that your landscaping is successful.
…Or we can help you do it
Some of our clients want us to do some (or all) of the work for them. For example, we might do the plantings and you spread the mulch. Sharing the labor is a way you can get the landscaping done and save money too. Bottom line is we want to help you take action on getting your new gardens started.
Of course, you’re guaranteed replacement of any plants that might die for a period of one full year after installation, as long as you do a minimum of proper care. (We’ll review with you personally just what minimum care is.)
Bonus! 4 Free Courtesy Visits During the guarantee period, you will get 4 free visits, one every three months, to make sure the plants are healthy. We’ll look for fertilizer needs, bug problems and spot pruning that might be needed. We’ll also take care of any weeds that might have appeared and advise you of anything you can do to make incremental improvements.
